Dear Fellow Chamber Members,
I am looking forward to a successful and fun year! The last couple of years have been such a time of transition for the Chamber. This year is a time to build on our successes and continue to move forward, with a focus on strengthening our programs and growing our membership.
Our Chamber is totally funded by memberships, key investors and our events. We are committed to being accountable to our members, our key investors and our community. Madison County is a great place to live and work. We have embraced economic development, a strong educational system and a good quality of life. The mission of the Chamber is to develop and provide leadership within the community so that we are always growing and improving in these areas. Quality communities are the ones where businesses want to locate and where people want to live.
Our programs and events this year include Leadership Madison County, Zip 39 Young Professional Group Events, the Dragon Boat Regatta, Professional Assistants’ Day, Coffee & Contacts, Link up on the Links, Women’s Council, Business University and the Best of Madison County Awards program.
To be successful, we need you! Find a committee or program that interests you and volunteer. You will have the opportunity to network and join us to help the Chamber and our community. You will find being involved with the Chamber to be a personally rewarding experience!
Sincerely,
Angela Phyfer, Director – Horne, LLP
2011 President of the Board of the Madison County Chamber of Commerce
