Kasey Perry , Executive Director

Prior to her position at the Chamber, Kasey served as the Senior Sales Manager of Tourism Development for the Baton Rouge Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (BRACVB). Kasey was charged with developing the international and domestic group tour markets for the greater Baton Rouge area as well as developing and implementing successful statewide cooperative marketing programs. Before her association with the BRACVB she was an Owner and Managing Partner for MPower Group, LLC a management consulting firm for small businesses, associations, municipalities and nonprofits. During her time there she served as the Associate Executive Director of the Microbusiness Enterprise Corporation of Ascension Parish and the Executive Director of the Baton Rouge Hospitality Management Association. Her professional specialties include operations management, customer relationship management, sales management and product development. Perry received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Louisiana State University in 2000. In 2006 she earned the Certified Travel Industry Specialist designation from the American Bus Association. Perry was a dedicated board member for the Sales and Marketing Executives of Greater Baton Rouge and in 2008 she was awarded the coveted President’s award for her commitment and service to the organization as the Vice President of Programs. She is married to Donavan Perry, a native of South Africa.  They have a 2 year old son, Benjamin.
