2018 President, Grant Montgomery
Dear Fellow Chamber Members:
My name is Grant Montgomery, and I am excited to be the 2018 Madison County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors President. I am a lifelong resident of Madison County, where my family and I still reside. Our county has seen tremendous growth over the years, and we look forward to more in the future! My wife (Lindsey) works for Madison County Schools, our daughter (Sloane, 4) attends K-3 at Canton Academy, and we are active members of Grace Crossing Baptist Church in Gluckstadt. I love Madison County and want to improve our community in any way possible.
I am looking forward to a successful and fun year! The last couple of years have been such a time of transition for the Chamber. 2018 is a time to build on our successes and continue to move forward, with a focus on strengthening our programs and growing our membership.
Our Chamber is totally funded by memberships, key investors, and our events. We are committed to being accountable to our members, our key investors, and our community. Madison County is a great place to live and work. We have embraced economic development, a strong educational system, and a superior quality of life. The mission of the Chamber is to develop and provide leadership within the community so that we are always growing and improving in these areas. Quality communities are the ones where businesses want to locate and where people want to reside.
Our programs and events this year include: Leadership Madison County, Dragon Boat Regatta, County Reach, Coffee & Contacts, MCCOC Fall Classic, Madison County Chamber Liaison Program, and the Best of Madison County Awards program.
To be successful, we need you! Find a committee or program that interests you and volunteer. You will have the opportunity to network and join us to help the Chamber and our community. I hope you find being involved with the Chamber to be a personally rewarding experience.
